This Week in Our Learning

Grade 1:

  • Played “Space Explorers,” moving safely around the area while avoiding collisions
  • Practiced gentle passing of soft balls to partners.
  • Worked in small groups to score points by reaching a target zone.

Grades 2–3:

  • Played “Treasure Capture,” where students had to pass, move, and evade defenders
  • Practiced basic defending techniques, such as intercepting a pass or marking a player.
  • Used simple strategies to keep possession and create scoring opportunities.

Grades 4–6:

  • Played Bench Ball, focusing on accurate passing, teamwork, and positioning.
  • Practiced Handball drills, emphasizing dribbling, shooting, and defensive movements.

2. Student Spotlight

Our students showed great energy and enthusiasm throughout the lessons! Grade 1 students displayed curiosity and joy as they learned how to work together. Grades 2–3 impressed us with their developing teamwork and fair play, while Grades 4–6 demonstrated growing confidence in using tactics and communication. Across all year levels, students showed cooperation, perseverance, and a willingness to try new challenges.

3. Looking Ahead

In the coming weeks, students will continue to develop their game awareness, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. They will learn how to create space, support teammates, and make thoughtful decisions during play. We look forward to seeing them apply these skills both in PE
