Dear Parents and Families,

I hope you are all doing well! As your child continues to grow as an English learner, one of the best ways to support them at home is through simple, everyday conversations in English. You don’t need to be fluent, just spending a few minutes speaking together can make a big difference!

Here’s a helpful strategy you can try at home:

“Talk Time” – 5 Minutes a Day
Set aside a few minutes each day to talk with your child in English. You can:

  • Ask simple questions like “What did you do at school today?” or “What was your favorite part of the day?”

  • Describe what you’re doing at home: “I’m cooking rice,” or “Let’s clean your room together.”

  • Encourage your child to answer in English, even with short sentences.

This daily practice helps your child build confidence, use new vocabulary, and feel proud of their progress. 🌼

Thank you for always supporting your child’s learning journey. Your involvement truly makes a difference!

Warm regards,

Viviana
