1. This Week in Our Learning
This week marked the culmination of our Adventure Challenges unit. Students took time to reflect on the different challenges they experienced throughout the unit and how they approached problem-solving as a team. They identified the ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills they developed—such as communication, social, and thinking skills—and recognized the Learner Profile attributes they demonstrated, including being risk-takers, communicators, and reflective learners.
2. Student Spotlight
Our students showed remarkable engagement during the activities, consistently applying resilience, teamwork, and cooperation. One group displayed strong leadership and determination, encouraging each other to stay focused and positive even when tasks became difficult. Another group excelled in problem-solving, with students sharing creative ideas and supporting their peers when they were ready to give up. These moments highlighted the power of collaboration and the importance of not giving up.
3. Looking Ahead
As we move forward, I look forward to seeing how students transfer these valuable skills into real-life situations—both inside and outside of school. The resilience, leadership, and teamwork they practiced during Adventure Challenges will serve them well in future learning and everyday life.
