Hello everyone,
It was a wonderful week in the art room! Here’s a glimpse of what our young artists have been creating and exploring:
- KG1 practiced drawing squares, drew little houses, and began discovering the artist Mondrian.
- KG2 continued learning about emotions, creating expressive collages using fabric.
- Grade 1 drew their moms and dads using shapes and learned the difference between warm and cool colors.
- Grade 2 explored cultural patterns and designed their own creative patterns using stamps.
- Grade 3 learned about Van Gogh and drew imaginative versions of his famous sunflowers.
- Grade 4 practiced drawing spheres and discovered the concept of value, shading with pencils.
- Grade 5 applied shading techniques to add value and depth to their Omani pot drawings.
- Grade 6 began exploring the painting style of Jacob Lawrence and practicing his bold, narrative approach.
Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to more creativity next week!
