Dear Parents and Students,
It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and I am delighted to share what we’ve been learning in Mathematics across the grade 11 Mathematics Applications and Interpretations. Alongside getting to know each other, we’ve laid some strong foundations for our learning journey ahead.
We began with an icebreaker where students shared about their experiences with Maths. It was a light-hearted way to start the year and learn more about each other.
Afterwards, we got straight into our first topic – the laws of exponents and scientific notation.
✨ Spotlight: A few students demonstrated strong eagerness to learn and they have been putting continuous effort.
🔎 Looking ahead: Next week, we’ll explore exponential growth and decay, applying what we’ve learnt to real-world problems.
