Dear Primary Families,
As we reach the final day of the school year, it is a wonderful moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the many successes of our learning community. This year has been one of remarkable growth, resilience, and achievement for every student – from our youngest KG1 learners who have completed their very first year of school, to our Grade 6 students who are now graduating from the PYP and preparing to embark on their journey into the MYP. Each step has been filled with learning, discovery, and pride.
To our departing students and families, whether you are staying in Sohar, moving elsewhere in Oman, or relocating further afield, we send you our warmest wishes. Thank you for being part of the ABIS community – you will always be part of our story, and we hope you carry fond memories with you.
As we look ahead to the new school year, we understand that parents may have preferences regarding class placements. Please know that our teaching teams give thoughtful and careful consideration to the composition of every class. We take into account a range of factors – academic needs, social dynamics, learning styles, and individual circumstances – to ensure the best possible learning environment for each child. We ask for your trust, support, and understanding in this process. Class lists will be shared at the beginning of the new academic year.
On behalf of the entire primary team, I would like to wish all our families a safe, restful, and joyful summer break. We hope it brings you time to recharge and make meaningful memories together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Saturday, 24th August, ready for another exciting year of learning and growth.
Warm regards,
Matthew
