As we wrap up the school year this week, we reflect on the year we’ve had together growing, learning, laughing and making memories to cherish for years to come. Miss Rachel, Miss Megan and Ms. Khadija all want to say a huge thank you to all parents for your support throughout the year to make all these memorable memories happen. Without your support and partnership, none of this would have been possible. We also need to thank all of our Grade 5 students for their engagement and contributions to our Grade 5 community. Each child has played an integral role in our community and together we became a big family. Lastly, please help us extend our appreciation to Ms. Khadija, who is truly the glue that holds Grade 5 together. We appreciate all of the time she has helped us with communication to families, and also the support, care and love she has given to each Grade 5 student. She truly is one of a kind and so valuable!
This week has been filled with fun, reflecting on our year together by making a Grade 5 memory book (on Google Classroom), to the endless Kahoots and Blookets, to the Great Grade 5 pool, movie and sports hall party! We have enjoyed just being able to soak up these last few days being present and making memories to keep with us. Our students were able to participate and support each other in the Primary Talent show, as well as come together as a whole school one last time to end the year on Wednesday morning.

Remember, just because your child might no longer be in our class it doesn’t mean we stop supporting your child. Please reach out if you ever need anything, we are happy to support them as they continue their learning journey.
