We hope you all had a wonderful Eid holiday with family and friends. Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work, dedication, and for being risk-takers in putting on a fabulous Summer Music Concert today! It was an engaging and enjoyable celebration.

- Tuesday June 17th – Great Grade 5 Party Day! Please bring/wear a swimsuit and towel as we will be starting our day in the pool! Please also bring some blankies & pillows for the Grade 5 Movie Theatre! Lunch will be provided at the Pizza Party.
- Wednesday 18th June: Final day of school for students finish at 1:00PM – End of Year Reports to parents
During this week, students spent a lot of time rehearsing for the Summer Music Concert, which took up a majority of our time during the 3 days. Students did spend some time wrapping up their project-based learning journals for our unit of inquiry. Students finished researching how two different foods were made, and took one of those foods to think about how ethical the process is. To demonstrate their learning and understanding, students created a poster to encourage ethical food choices. Students played a few Blookets that challenged them to use different knowledge from the year such as understanding nouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives, as well as our multiplication facts. We also had time together to enjoy playing some Kahoots! that students created about our year together. What a fun way to reflect on our year!

Looking Forward
It is hard to believe that our last week of school is here! On Tuesday, we will have a Grade 5 Party, which will include going to the pool, watching a movie, having a lovely lunch together and ending our day in the sports hall. Please bring/wear a swimsuit and towel as we will be starting our day in the pool! Please also bring some blankies & pillows for the Grade 5 Movie Theatre! Lunch will be provided at the Pizza Party. The final day of school will be on Wednesday, students will finish at 1:00pm.
