Dear Parents,

I would like to share a quick update on our current unit in Physical Education — Striking and Fielding — which all students from Grades 1 to 6 are now actively engaged in.

Throughout this unit, students are developing essential skills such as striking with control, catching, throwing, teamwork, and spatial awareness. They are also learning how to work cooperatively, understand rules, and apply simple strategies in small-group games.

Each grade level is engaging in activities appropriate to their development:

  • Grades 1–2 are learning basic hand-eye coordination through fun hitting and throwing games.

  • Grades 3–4 are practicing accurate striking, field positioning, and working in pairs or teams.

  • Grades 5–6 are focusing on applying tactics in small-sided games and demonstrating fair play and collaboration.

It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and teamwork shine through! We encourage students to reflect on their progress and continue developing these skills both in and outside of school.
