Dear parents,
This week has been a celebration of learning across the school. In Primary, Student-Led Conferences gave families a meaningful glimpse into daily classroom life. I always enjoy seeing students proudly share their work—especially our youngest learners, who guide their families through every detail. Book Week added excitement with buddy reading, bookmark making, and our first Great Book Swap. We wrapped up with Character Day assembly and the sea of costumes among the students was wonderful to see! Our students put a lot of effort into their costumes, no doubt assisted by their parents. Thank you to everyone involved.
In Secondary, it was great to see so many parents attend Teacher-Parent Conferences, engaging in thoughtful conversations with subject teachers about student progress. Our DP Art Exhibition was another highlight—congratulations to Arzoo Sheikh (Grade 12) for her imaginative and thought-provoking pieces. This week Grade 6 parents were invited to a virtual session introducing Grade 7 and the IBMYP; a recording of the session has been shared.
Our older students continue preparing for MYP and DP exams, showing commendable dedication. We remain focused on supporting both their academic success and wellbeing.
A reminder that school will be closed on Thursday, 1st May for Teacher Professional Development.
Thank you for your continued support. Wishing you all a good weekend.
