Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a restful and joyful Eid holiday with your families!

We are excited to begin a new unit in Physical and Health Education: Movement Composition. Over the next four weeks, our Primary students will be exploring how the body can express ideas and emotions through movement, rhythm, and performance. This unit will help students develop not only their physical abilities but also their creativity, confidence, and collaboration skills.

In this unit, students will inquire into how movement can be structured and sequenced to communicate meaning. They will experiment with different movement elements such as levels, speed, direction, balance, rhythm, and flow. Through individual, partner, and small group activities, they will learn to create, refine, and perform movement sequences with purpose and control.

Throughout the unit, students will be encouraged to reflect on their progress and the creative process, helping them gain a deeper understanding of how movement connects to communication and performance.

We are looking forward to a dynamic and engaging few weeks, and I’m excited to see how each student brings their personality and creativity into their movement compositions.
