Dear parents,

The big news this week is a major development for ABIS: the construction of three new science labs, thanks to Sohar Aluminium. These purpose-built spaces will significantly enhance the learning experience for students in Upper Primary and Secondary by enabling deeper engagement with hands-on, inquiry-based science. Whether experimenting in biology, physics, chemistry, or environmental science, students will develop critical thinking, scientific literacy, and real-world problem-solving skills in a professional and inspiring environment. These labs are not just a facility—they are an investment in future-ready education.

This week, Primary students brought incredible energy to World Maths Day through peer-led games and challenges. Highlights included a school-wide game of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ and interactive activities that explored probability and problem-solving.

Looking ahead, we return to a vibrant stretch of learning and community events. On Tuesday, April 8th, we invite you to the Grade 10 Personal Project Exhibition—an inspiring showcase of student creativity and perseverance, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the Mazoon.

Our final round of After-School Activities will begin on Sunday, April 13th, running for seven weeks.

Progress Reports will be issued on Thursday, April 17th, in preparation for our Three-Way Conferences (April 22nd–24th). These important conversations help us reflect on growth and set meaningful goals together. Sign-up details will be shared after the break.

School is on break next week, and students return on Sunday April 6.

As Ramadan draws to a close, my best wishes to all our families for a joyful Eid and a peaceful break. May this time of reflection and togetherness bring you much happiness.

Enjoy your time with family and friends!
