Dear Parents and Guardians,
This past week has been a wonderful demonstration of our school’s commitment to learning, creativity, and community.
Last Thursday, our school came alive with the flavours and cultures of our diverse community. A huge thank you to our wonderful parents for providing an incredible variety of dishes representing cultures from around the world. The student performances, national dances by parents, and fun children’s activities made the event very special! Thanks to your generosity, we raised 1,407.5 OMR for Takaful. This excellent result shows the power of community and generosity. We look forward to making it an annual tradition.
Our Grade 6 students presented their PYP Exhibition, exploring real-world issues through an Alice in Wonderland-themed inquiry. They demonstrated research, critical thinking, and communication skills, reflecting the IB Learner Profile. A special thank you to Mr. Matt for his guidance and to the teachers, mentors, and parents who supported our students. Well done to all!
Selected students from Grades 7-9 participated in the Art Garden Workshop at Sohar Public Park, experimenting with stencil techniques on canvas. This opportunity not only enhanced their artistic skills but also encouraged creativity and collaboration beyond the classroom.
As we welcome Ramadan, we embrace a time of kindness, generosity, and unity. On behalf of our school, I extend my warmest wishes to all observing families. May this holy month bring peace and blessings to you and your loved ones. Ramadan Mubarak!
Warm regards,
Dominic Robeau
