Dear parents,

Our youngest learners from KG2 to Grade 2 impressed us in today’s assembly, demonstrating confidence and enthusiasm. Thank you to the parents who attended. Future assemblies will resume after Ramadan, with dates shared in advance.

Our Grade 7 students recently embarked on a three-day camping trip to Sifah Beach, a key part of our Oman Week experience. This trip fosters resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving while deepening their appreciation of Oman’s stunning natural landscapes. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and perseverance. A special thanks to our teachers and trip leaders for ensuring a safe and enriching experience.

Tonight, our ABIS community gathers for International Food Evening, a celebration of our diverse cultures with food, performances, and games. Proceeds support our designated charity, Takaful. Thank you to all who contributed—we look forward to a fantastic event!

This Sunday, we honour our teachers for their dedication and impact. Teaching is a demanding yet rewarding profession, and we deeply appreciate their commitment. Wishing all our educators a wonderful day of recognition. ABIS will be closed on Sunday 23rd  February as this is a Ministry of Education holiday. School will resume on Monday 24th February.

Also on Monday February 24th we are welcoming a group of 20 University students visiting from Germany. They study education and are visiting Sohar for the day. We look forward to showing them our wonderful school, teachers and students.

On Friday February 21st ABIS will host the Nautilus Swimming Club swim meet and we look forward to welcoming swimmers from Muscat and Sohar to our school to compete. We invite our community to attend from 9am – 3.00 pm.

Wishing everyone a restful extended weekend. See you at our upcoming events!
