Dear ABIS Community
Over the last two days, our junior and senior boys’ and girls’ basketball teams competed against teams from ABQ Sohar and The Indian School. On Tuesday night, the junior and senior girls took the court to showcase their skills and teamwork. They achieved impressive results despite having only two weeks to prepare for the tournament. The junior girls secured 2nd place, finishing behind The Indian School, while the ABIS Senior Girls’ Team triumphed in the championship match against The Indian School.
The boys had their chance for hoop glory on Wednesday night, and it was an exhilarating night! The ABIS senior boys’ team displayed a fast-paced and attacking style of play in the senior championship match, defeating last year’s winner, The Indian School. In the junior category, ABIS secured second place after a thrilling overtime victory against The Indian School.
Congratulations to all the players! Thank you to our coaches, Mr. Michael and Mr. Ferdi. We look forward to seeing more players and spectators at court-side next year.
