Dear ABIS Families,
Real-world experiences are essential for students to understand how the knowledge and skills acquired in class are applied in our daily lives. This week, one group of middle school students participated in a boxing fitness and H.I.I.T (High-Intensity Interval Training) workout, while another grade-level group focused on improving muscular strength and endurance in pull-ups and cardiovascular endurance through cycling for 2-3 kilometers on exercise bikes. One of the learning expectations is that students must be able to plan a personalised fitness workout.
These experiences are meaningful, engaging, and interactive, and hopefully, they will encourage all students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
