Dear Primary Families,
The highlight of this week was most definitely our Student Led Conferences (SLCs) – how fabulous it was to see our students confidently and enthusiastically sharing their learning journey, highlighting the growth and achievements they have made throughout the year!
The SLCs provided a wonderful platform to share and celebrate their learning with you. Through these conferences, our students not only demonstrated their knowledge and skills but also exemplified the attributes of the IB learner profiles and approaches to learning skills. They displayed qualities such as communication, reflection, and inquiry, showcasing their ability to be knowledgeable, principled, and reflective learners.
As you engaged with your child during the conferences, you witnessed firsthand how they have embraced the IB learner profiles and approaches to learning skills in their daily learning experiences. From demonstrating communication skills by articulating their learning goals to showcasing critical thinking skills by reflecting on their progress, our students embodied the essence of an IB learner.
Thank you for your support during the conferences and for reinforcing the importance of these skills and profiles as our students strive to become lifelong learners who are compassionate, knowledgeable, and reflective individuals.
Should you have any questions or would like further information about your child’s learning, please feel free to reach out. We look forward to continuing to celebrate our students’ achievements together.
Have an enjoyable weekend.
Matthew
