Dear Primary Families,
Winter Concert
Wow! What a way to end the week? It was absolutely fantastic to see our primary students up on stage being risk-takers and performing with such skill, confidence, and style today!
Participating in concerts such as today’s offers our students a range of benefits beyond showcasing their talents. These events foster confidence, as students learn to overcome nerves and embrace performing in front of a large audience. Collaborating with peers and classmates in rehearsals builds teamwork and communication skills, enhancing their social and self-management skills. The sense of accomplishment derived from mastering a performance piece instils discipline and perseverance. Furthermore, exposure to different musical genres broadens their cultural appreciation.
Congratulations to the young performers on a job well done – and of course, a huge thank you and well done to Mr. Peter for all the hard work and effort that went into preparing for today.
Musical: Goldilocks and the 3 Bears
Looking ahead to next Monday, we are all excited to see the musical, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. The students, and Mr. Peter, Ms. Ays, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Sanaa, have been working tirelessly on learning lines, practising songs, making costumes, designing sets, making props and everything else that has had to be accomplished to be ready for next week’s performance. We cannot wait to see the results!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend as we rapidly head towards the winter holidays!
Best regards,
Matthew
Primary Team Lead
