It has been a great week working in Grade 2 after their term break. The children shared their holiday stories by writing a recount. For this they wrote in paragraphs using past tense verbs and the first person pronouns.
During Unit of Inquiry sessions the classes were divided into 4 groups. As they are starting a new unit from the Sharing the Planet transdiciplinary theme, the groups rotated around 4 activities arranged by the Grade teachers and CA’s. Our central idea : Earth has finite resources that are shared equally.
Grade 3 finished our addition and subtraction unit this week and next week we move multiplication and division.
