Dear Families,
Our first full week of using the Ramadan timetable has been very successful. All non-fasting students are eating snacks and lunches in the Mazoon prior to playing outside, while all fasting students are playing outside prior to praying in the Sports Hall during lunch breaks. The shortened schedule is working very well, allowing students and Muslim staff to leave at 2pm each afternoon. Aside from some unstable weather, everything has gone smoothly! Thank you to all parents for your ongoing flexibility and support.
We are looking forward to our Community Iftar Potluck Dinner next Thursday, April 6, in the Mazoon. Please join us for some socializing and celebrating this special time of year. It’s a great way to get to know other parents and the children love the opportunity to eat and play together at school in the evening. We look forward to seeing many families here next Thursday from 6pm onwards. Please bring a dish to share.
As always, have a lovely weekend. Maeve
