Dear parents,
This week at ABIS, there was a strong focus on music and learning. Grade 1 students put on an impressive musical play led by Mr. Peter, while grades 3 and 4 showcased their knowledge and skills to parents and the primary community. Well done to all the students for their hard work and confidence!
Looking ahead, there are several important events next week. On Monday, there will be a musical performance featuring students from grades 3-6. This musical play will focus on themes of recycling, sustainability, and teamwork, and all parents are encouraged to attend.
ABIS will also be hosting Student Led Conferences on Tuesday, March 14th from 3:30-7 pm, and on Wednesday, March 15th from 1-5 pm. This is a valuable opportunity for parents to learn about their child’s progress and achievements throughout the year. Please note that students will be dismissed early on Wednesday, March 15th at 12:20 pm to accommodate the conferences. Parents can book a time to meet with their child’s teacher through this link.
ABIS is proud to celebrate the recent achievements of our students in the Qur’an competitions. Congratulations to Dura Al Abdulsalam, Bayan Al-Saeedi, Muhammad Ishaq Al-Balushi, Rand Ahmed Al-Saeedi, and Rana Ahmed Al-Saeedi for their outstanding performances in the state-level competition for recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur’an in Sohar. We also extend congratulations to Zara Anwer for her achievement in the under-15 girls’ table tennis tournament in Muscat.
Finally, tomorrow is the Nautilus swimming event starting at 8:30 am, and all parents are welcome to attend.
Enjoy your weekend!
