Dear Families,
We had an enjoyable week with our Primary Parent Coffee Morning and our Community Dinner. It was great to see many of you attending these events. Thank you for your engagement with the ABIS community. If you have suggestions for topics for upcoming Parent Coffee Mornings, please let us know.
Are you interested in reading with children? Some of our Primary teachers would welcome volunteers to read with students one:one in the mornings. Individual reading time and support can help boost our students’ achievement. Let me know, or your child’s teacher know, if you would be keen to read with students on a regular basis.
Grade 6 Parents: Please plan to attend the meeting planned for Monday, Jan. 23 in the Mazoon from 6-7pm. You will learn important details about your child’s learning and the important process behind the PYP Exhibition, which is a culmination of learning from all off Primary. We hope to see all of you in attendance.
Children are loving the cooler weather and it makes playing outside so pleasant. They especially like eating lunch and snacks under the new Gazebo area. Students voted this week, and the name of the area is now “The Oasis”.
I hope you are able to get outside during the coming weekend and enjoy the cooler weather as well. Maeve
