Dear parents,
Happy National Day! It was a special day that we celebrated across the school, beginning with an assembly. Students raised the National flag, everyone participated in the national anthem and a group of students led by Mr Aamer performed a traditional dance. Students arrived at school in a blaze of colour, dressed in national clothing and the national colours of Oman. It was a wonderful sight. I have attached some photographs below. All grades also celebrated in their classes and students and teachers really enjoyed their time together in games, activities, and good food!
This week was busy for everyone as we held 3 days of very successful 3-way conferences. The turnout by parents was high, and it was excellent to see such strong participation.
I am pleased to announce that Ms Samantha Erasmus will begin on Sunday in KG1, replacing Ms Celine who had to return home. Please welcome Ms Samantha when you see her!
The national holiday has been announced for Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December. The school will be closed on these days.
Have a restful and wonderful weekend!
Dominic Robeau
