Dear parents,
This week has been wonderful for students and parents alike as we held the Student-Led Conferences. Yesterday and today we had a large number of parents visiting the school to see their children’s class work and hear them explain what they have been doing in class. This type of event is very special for many reasons but importantly it allows the children to demonstrate their learning with pride and excitement. I am very pleased to have been able to meet a number of parents who have been unanimous in their praise for the students and teachers.
Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Holy Quran competition, they did extremely well! Ms Zuweina has posted the results.
This week I have hosted 3 coffee mornings for Primary parents. It was a great pleasure to spend time with parents discussing the school and their children. We will continue to hold these mornings at regular intervals and I hope that many more parents will attend.
Next week is Oman week for Primary students and a range of activities have been planned by their teachers. I am sure that the students are excited to explore the many cultural aspects of Oman in classes and activities.
Have a wonderful weekend.
