Dear Families,
It was so wonderful to have all the Primary students back on campus this week! Teachers were thrilled to welcome them back into classrooms, and students were very happy to be back in their familiar environments, learning and playing with their friends again. According to the parents faces I saw at the front gate in the mornings, I believe you were all equally happy and relieved to have the kids return to school.
Our aim is to keep students at school face to face. Please help us to achieve this goal by making decisions that consider the entire learning community. If your child is showing any symptoms of Covid, please do not send them to school until a doctor has said it is safe to do so. If your child has had close contact with covid, it’s important that they do not attend school until after the required isolation period. We are following the ABIS Covid protocols shared with you last week and we are following through carefully with any suspected cases. We thank you in advance for working together with us to keep our learning community safe.
Please remember that students will begin their swim lessons as part of PE next week. It is important that they bring a bag with their swimsuit, cap, goggles and towel on their designated swim day.
Wishing you a lovely weekend, enjoy the perfect weather! Maeve
