Dear parents,
Today being the 51st National Day of Oman, it was a special day for the entire school. This was the first time we gathered as a school for a brief ceremony raising the Oman flag and singing the national anthem. The students were all wearing Oman national dress or the national colours and it was an impressive sight! Below are a number of photographs taken this morning. I am very pleased to announce that we now have a new Parent Committee consisting of Ahmed Aykour, Brenda Bac, Dr Hanifa Al Qasmi, Guinee Kagie, Jameel Shakeel, Reem Al Alawi, Sheikha Al Shibli. Please congratulate them when you see them. We met for the first time yesterday and the members elected Jameel Shakeel as the Chairperson. The scope and responsibilities of the Parent Committee are being finalized by the members and will be shared next Thursday with the ABIS community.
Please remember that Sunday November 28 and Monday November 29 are public holidays. School will resume on Tuesday November 30.
