Dear parents,
As another week concludes with no safety and health issues, I am grateful to all parents who have exercised caution in keeping their children at home when ill. A reminder that if your child has been ill, please get clearance from a medical professional before your child returns to school.
We are testing the Como students lunches next week with a group of parents, and we will let you know their thoughts next Thursday. The response was very good in the survey, and we will begin a trial with Como soon.
As we can now invite small groups of parents to the school campus after hours, Ms Zuweina has reached out to parents who have not yet been able to visit the campus since their child/ren joined the school. Once these tours are completed, we will send out a general invitation for parents to visit the campus after hours on selected days. The visits will be limited in groups of 10 and will require parents to book with Ms Zuweina. A reminder that all visitors to the school must have double vaccination and face masks.
This Saturday 25 September, Alpha Football Academy is holding an Open Day. Please note the following:
Open Day is 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Al Batinah International School, Sports field.
Attire – Shorts, T-shirt and sports shoes (carry personal water bottles). All participants must arrive 15 minutes before the session begins.
There will be temperature checks at the gates and all adults must provide proof of vaccination for entry. Parents of the participants will be allowed to enter in batches. This is to avoid gathering and to follow with the school guidelines. Parents can watch the session for 20 minutes. Parents must register to enter on +968 71 913 999
Please remember that next Thursday September 30 is a student free day as all teachers have a Professional Learning Day.
