Grade 3 have had a successful week online with the students attending class on time. They have shown a level of maturity and respect by asking questions and responding to instructions in a thoughtful manner.

During Ramadan we have enjoyed some relaxing breathing exercises that have allowed us time to reflect and be kind to ourselves. We have learnt how to be patient, be a good friend and be grateful.

Today is Earth day and the class have considered how they can take responsibility and take care of the earth. Their ideas included turning off light when they are not used, reusing items such as clothes and recycling plastic and glass.

The class wrote their own Kenning poems. These are poems that do not state what they are describing, for example a baby is a noise maker or a dog is a face licker. They had to choose an animal and think of words to describe it. These words were then grouped together.

I would like to wish you all a very happy Ramadan.
