We had a great week of fun as your children and their teachers came dressed in the various Spirit Week themes. Today was Pajama Day and which we do not want to be an ironic foreshadowing of the attire we can expect in the coming month of Distance Learning.
In several secondary advisories, they discussed the importance of dressing for school, even when online, to set our moods and attitudes toward the work and focus needed for the day. We also encourage students to change out of their school clothes at the end of the day to mark a transition to time with the family.
We are still preparing for Student Led Conferences, which will be help on April 13 and 14. Please mark your calendars. You will receive instructions for signing up for these when we return next week.
With the transition back to online teachers will take Tuesday to ensure a smooth transition. This means your scheduled 4-day weekend is now a 5-day weekend and we will see students back on Wednesday. If your child was not able to bring everything home today, please bring them on Tuesday to collect any remaining items that will be needed in the coming weeks. There should be no items left at the school after Tuesday.
Please note that grade 12 students are expected to attend sessions live at school in preparation for their IB DP exams. We will see you on campus on Wednesday.
We wish you a great weekend.
