Dear ABIS Families,
Thank you for your patience during this first week back with all students present face to face. It has been a very successful week in many regards, largely due to the support we receive each day from our parents.
To make the afternoon pick up as smooth as the morning drop off has been, please note the following changes, which will begin on Sunday, Jan. 24:
- We will continue to use the one way traffic system for safety.
- Families with children in grades 1-4 must park and then walk to the gate to pick up their children. We do not want younger children walking to cars during a busy time without an adult.
- Parking areas will be allotted for both Primary and Secondary grades on both sides of the gate. On the entrance side of the gate: Grades 5, 7, 9, and 11 cars may park. On the exit side of the gate: Grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 may park.
- Families with children in grades 5-12 must park and can then either wait in their cars for their children to arrive, or if they wish they can also walk to the gate to pick them up.
- KG 1, 2, 3 routines will remain the same with an early pick up time, on Thursdays only, of 12:50pm.
We will try this system for the coming week and, as always, will continue to re-assess and improve our procedures.
