Dear parents,
This was a short week for all due to the long weekend, yet much was still accomplished in school. Classes are running well, both in person and online, and we are finding more students have been returning to school. We are maintaining our strong health and safety protocols and daily checks of these protocols are in force.
I hope that the parent student teacher conferences were run to your satisfaction and would welcome any feedback. Further, our new reporting system is now in place and the recent progress reports went online smoothly. Again, should you wish to provide feedback, please do so.
We are incredibly pleased that in the past 3 weeks almost all of our teachers who were overseas are now in school thanks to the efforts of Sohar Aluminium and our school administration staff. We have now only two teachers situated outside Oman and we are hoping that they also will soon be able to join us here.
Michelle Simpson heads home to New Zealand next week and we wish her all the very best. If you see her on morning duty next week welcoming students, give her a wave!
