I hope you are enjoying the start to a long weekend. Yesterday we had a visit from the Sohar Aluminum Health and Safety team who walked our campus to give us some feedback on the procedures and protocols we are setting up for the return of students, should we return on November 1st. The good news is we have been on the right track and there were a few suggestions from them that we will implement over the upcoming weeks to ensure your children’s and our staff safety.
We had a very productive day today as teachers were collaborating, learning and planning for the upcoming weeks. These days are so valuable for teachers in terms of learning from each other. I also ran a mini Maths workshop for our Classroom Assistants and Mrs Isles ran a workshop around how to help with reading, so not only were our teachers engaged in upskilling themselves, so were our CA’s.
