Well what a surprise announcement by the Supreme Committee this week! Things are certainly changing in our world around us. I would like to reassure you that we will continue to provide quality learning opportunities to your child and children.
We would like to thank you, our wonderful ABIS community, for your ongoing support of your child and their learning over the past few weeks. We know how difficult this is for you as parents so please make sure to be in contact with one of us if you are finding things overwhelming. We are here to listen and help in any way we can.
If you missed it this morning, Primary parents are asked to please complete this short survey below to indicate if you wish for your child/children to continue to engage in Distance Learning opportunities provided by the school. Please complete by Friday 4pm. Click here to take the survey!
Note : If you have more than one child you can simply click on the link a second or third time to submit multiple responses.
We aim to continue to provide clarity and creativity around learning, connections with your children and a sense of sustainability. We all know how much time students have been spending in front of screens so you can expect some surprises coming your child’s way in terms of new and engaging activities. Your child will receive a survey or have discussions in their online meetings around three questions:
What have you liked about learning online/Distance Learning ?
What has been difficult for you?
What would you like to do more of?
Giving our students some voice and choice around what they are doing will help to encourage engagement and empowers children by letting them know that their voices are heard. We will be checking in with you again over the next couple of weeks to see how Learning is progressing from your perspectives …. but we will give you to time to digest all the other news first!
Have a great weekend everyone. Stay safe and enjoy the warmer weather – although it was nice outside this morning about 5.30am!
