This has been the most exciting week of the year for myself and Grade 3. The dance of the bakers in the Nutcracker, preparing for science week and a successful assembly on the human body.
The class conducted themselves very well during the performance of the Nutcracker and their dance was outstanding! Here are some photographs from the evening.
The students really looked the part thanks to parents who contributed to the costumes.
Our class assembly showed how much the students have learnt from the unit of enquiry about the human body. The two dances on the circulatory and skeletal systems along with the reading and acting was excellent. To bring the assembly to a close Grade 3 performed a tribal body percussion lead by Mr McBirnie.
