Advisory sessions are about ensuring that your child is known personally and meaningfully by their advisor.

Your child’s advisor is your first point of contact regarding concerns about your child’s health and well-being. Please be sure you contact the advisor if your child is absent or dealing with any emotional concerns.

To get to know your child better, advisors are engaging with students during weekly conversations. These are initially on topics chosen by the advisors, but we want to encourage students to raise topics of their own. These might be concerns about homework, friendships, peer pressure, or even items in their lives outside of school.

Advisors are also giving students a chance to write any concerns or ideas to be submitted for conversations or addressed more privately.

If you are unsure of who your child’s advisor is, please send me an email. I will be happy to introduce you.
