Grade five students have been busy this week, creating their final poetry projects, as well as starting their unit about space. This includes the creation of one pagers about the book Love That Dog, which are colorful and graphic demonstrations about their understanding of the book and the concepts discussed.
With the Space unit, we started by finding out what students already know about space. This was achieved by an activity where students read some statements about space and decided if they were true or not. They enjoyed the discussion and are ready to dive into the unit.
