Students in Grade 4 have been learning a chant called “Peanut Butter Pie” and making up the melody for it, using the directions Up, Down, High, and Low and the C Pentatonic Scale.
Students have also started to aurally dictate the rhythm of the chant, learning about sixteenth notes (tikitiki) in the process.
