The students had a very productive week. They have learned some new strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems. Students mingled to music, while answering questions about the book of the week The Dot. Also, they created stories using the theme or message of the book.
Last Thursday, students collaborated with fifth graders to design and create bridges with straws and scotch tape. Great teamwork!
After collaboration activity, fourth and fifth graders did some reflecting with Ms. Kirsty about working together, sharing ideas, and responsibility in group work.
Lastly, finished off the week with some addition and subtraction math games.
