Just five weeks to go before the summer holidays and we aim to keep students learning right up to the last day of school. On the last day we plan on celebrating the year and saying goodbye to our leavers. The IGCSE and IB Diploma exams are going smoothly, though we won’t know the results until July and August respectively. In just a couple of weeks the rest of students will begin their end of year exams, so we are helping them prepare!

Our boys and girls played two more games of basketball against Sohar International School this week, as well as against a touring girls team. We won all three games and hope to arrange more fixtures in the near future in order to help our students further develop their skills and sportsmanship.

We are planning ahead for Ramadan and will be communicating arrangements shortly, though there will be little impact on the school day for most students. We will avoid public performances out of respect for the cultural norms. We will also be making some special arrangements to take into account the physical demands on fasting students as we did last year.
