The Long Word Game as grade five calls it is an enjoyable and challenging language activity. Through it the children develop and improve on their spelling skills while broadening their vocabulary at the same time. This week’s word was industrialization. We set a new class record by making more than two hundred words by using letters in the word to make new words. Next week we will continue writing information reports for writing. In math we will begin working on area and perimeter (measurement).
