We have been working really hard to find ways to grow the High School (9 to12) and bring in more students. One way of achieving this is to offer a High School Excellence Award to attract the most able students in Sohar – if they are not already with us. This has now been approved and we feel that this will offer three direct benefits to our existing students:
- Help motivate them because they can study with more highly able, dedicated students.
- Make their classes more stimulating because there will be more students involved.
- Provide them with more social opportunities and friendship groups.

The terms and conditions set a strict criteria for the Award and we will be careful to leave plenty of spaces for regular applicants to join the school next year and in coming years. Fortunately, by opening two new buildings next year (LC2, LC3), we have plenty of space to do this. We would like to thank the Board for recognising the need to bring in more students into the High School to join our lovely community of learners. If you know of highly able students whose families are unable to meet our fees, please make them aware of the award. Applications must be made by April 8th.
