During spelling we set ourselves a challenge. The challenge was to see how many words were could making using letters from the word telephone. Although our goal was seventy five we surpassed it easily by getting one hundred and three. Quite an achievement. In math we continued to work on multiplying and dividing decimals. After the break we will explore the relationship between fractions and decimals. We will also begin working on information reports as part our unit of inquiry. While on the topic of the unit of inquiry, all children were active participants in and contributors to a very thoughtful discussion on the challenges faced by children when they move to a new school.
