In G11, students continued looking at the topic of cultural diversity and multilingualism. In class, we examined a speech from the Director of the Francophonie organisation and analysed its message. This task help students understand how to rhetorics can help to connect with the audience and how we can use them to present our opinion on a current issue. After, writing their speeches in défense of multilingualism, students read their speeches to an audience of fine G11 linguists.
