Part of the school’s mission is to ‘challenge’ students to reach their ‘full potential’ and to ‘fully involve’ themselves. This goal was truly reached yesterday, as most students fully committed themselves to doing their best on sports day. We were kept on our feet with numerous close and entertaining races, encouraging our young athletes with cheers of support. Not only did our students put it all in, it was superb to see them instinctively helping their friends and cheering them on even if they were in different houses. Thank you to all parents who came along and supported the event. Great to have you there.

Grade 10 students returned from an absolutely brilliant MUN – Model United Nations- experience and we really enjoyed seeing their pictures and hearing their stories. I have been informed that they were superb ambassadors and participants. We hope to have much more involvement with MUN in the future.

I have spent much of the week reading through the Secondary reports, which will be issued directly after the break. Overall, they are very pleasing and there is a great ‘deal of green’, indicating that students are really involved in their learning and putting in lots of effort. The reports are due to be issued on the Monday after the break.

Many students left the building today looking tired and looking forward to a well earned holiday. We wish everyone lots of fun and we hope that you get to spend some quality time with your family.
