Yesterday our school played competitive football matches for the first time. We played against Sohar International school. The girls as well as the boys represented their school with fantastic efforts. The girls played a mixed team and played really well together to finish with a 1-1 draw. Our boys started slowly in their first game together and quickly went behind 2-0. As the game went on they improved their teamwork and grew in confidence to score two fine goals boys to have the scores level 2-2 at half time. In an even second half the game went back and forth with our boys unlucky to concede a goal in the last minute of the game to give SIS a 3-2 win. In the end it was brilliant to see our students compete against other schools.
