It is time to register for the DELF Scolaire 2016 session! This year again, ABIS will be organising the Diplome d’Etude en Langue Francaise examinations with the help of the French-Omani Centre (CFO) in Muscat. Speaking and Written exams will take place on Sunday 10 April following the same format as last year.

I am delighted to announce that we have already almost twenty students who have confirmed that they would take the exam. If you are still thinking about it, here are some facts to help you make a decision:

– DELF benefits from a worldwide recognition and can be used as a proof of your level in French (when applying for university or employment)

– the exam is based on the European Framework for Languages and uses a common scale of levels from A1 (beginers) to C2 (near native standard)

– DELF B2 gives you access to French universities. France has a high reputation in the fields of technology , science, art and design and offers some of the best engineering courses in the world.

– DELF is an excellent preparation for IGCSE and IB exams

– DELF is accessible and does not require extra work

There is still some time left before I confirm the names of candidates to the CFO so please feel free to come and talk to me or just hand in the DELF reply slip and start preparing for the DELF!
