The 5/6 Assembly was last Thursday and apart from a glitch in the music, it went well. My sincere thanks to the parents who helped their children by providing the colours as outlined in the posts in the past 6 weeks. The clothing not only gives the appearance of a “real” show, it gives the students an even greater sense of being part of a larger whole. Students are reflecting this week on their achievements so keep an eye on their websites. They are justly proud of their efforts.  Please check out the links below!
The K3/grade 1 assembly has had to be postponed due to the long weekend and will now take place at 3.15 on Dec 9th in the MPA.  Assembly slots are full and it seemed appropriate to instead give our little ones a special opportunity to perform in front of a more intimate audience.  This will prepare them more for the bigger audience later in the year.  They will be doing one dance each.  It is only a five minute assembly, but for our little ones, a big moment! The children can perform in ANYTHING THEY WANT, but they must have bare feet. I am sure there is something your children will enjoy wearing in their wardrobes and it will be nice to provide them a chance to show their creativity in dress.
