There were some strong opinions about this topic as the children began persuading each other about why or why children should not be allowed to eat ice cream for breakfast. The points of view for and against were almost evenly divided. Discussion and debate helped the children developed a better understanding the exposition writing genre. In math we continued consolidating our subtraction skills. The unit of inquiry on the human body is approaching its end. We began making two and three dimensional models of parts of the body or system that we felt were the most important.
