This week has been a bit different as not all students have arrived back after the holidays. On Tuesday we only had five students in class! Hopefully next week everyone will be here.
We have continued with our brain gym exercises in the morning and Ms Simpson has been busy teaching us some new moves.

Since we had so few students in class on Tuesday we joined the Grade Threes for some maths games. In maths the students will be learning different strategies to use when multiplying and dividing.

We started our new unit of inquiry this week.
Our central idea is:
We can use our voices in many ways to express our ideas, feelings and emotions.
We have been listening to stories and poems to see how people use expression in their voices to engage an audience. The students looked at the characters in Bad Jelly the Witch and described the voices of each character.
They are now all busily planning a cartoon story for toon-tastic and discussing how to represent their characters using a variety of expression in their voices.
