And a lovely end to the calendar year was had this week with students having “Fun Day” time! Primary classes practiced the popular dances such as the Mexican Hat Dance, the Happy Dance, the Limbo, the Azonto and the Macarena. Easy to pick up and fun to do, the students laughed their way through classes.
Secondary school students were given some fun too, with Jump Style and the Limbo being especially requested. The students were also given a heads up for the coming semester where the following was discussed:
A cabaret for the secondary students three weeks into January
The International Evening performance requirements and criteria
The Choreographic Competition set for June 17 by special invitation from the Dance Teacher at the British School in Muscat
The End of Year performances.
